Nice original 28 in metal clad wood wheelset with York single tube tires. The tires are 28 in by 1 and 1/2 in and are marked York Victory Inflate to 40 lb. These are 36 hole rims with a New Departure Model D rear coaster brake and Westfield front hub. The tires are in good condition with a few cracks but they hold air and have good tread. The front rim is straight, the rear is out some and has a few loose spokes. The rear gear on the ND hub is a 9 tooth skip tooth. There is a small dent to the edge of the front rim as shown. Both rims are oxidized and nearly all the chrome is gone. These came from a 1933 Columbia bicycle and were likely the original equipment.
