Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Remarkable survivor and looking it over, this bike appears to be 100% all original
right down to the cables, pedals, etc. Excellent seat with no rips...very very nice
paint and outstanding chrome. A couple of wear spots in the paint around the top
of the head tube, perhaps a lock wore the paint up near the top near the head set
on one side..and the lower rear sprocket side frame stay adjacent to the sprocket
which might have been the culprit. Overall one one of the nicest original unmolested
Stingrays I've ever owned and I've had dozens of krates and Stingrays over the years.
A 68' Fastback same color just sold for 2799.00 on ebay.. about the same condition.
The 5 speed fenderless is a much cooler bike in my opinion. Would be very difficult
to find and nicer 68' fenderless 5 speed.
2200.00 plus the shipping.
