New Mexico Brant
I'm the Wiz, and nobody beats me!
This is a fabulous Sears Elgin Twin 60 first purchased by Rob Pierce from the original owner. This is an exemplary example in which the head shroud has not be over sprayed as we see with most of these. The only additions to this fine machine have been the one outer pedal cover, the light plastic cover, and bicycle collector Dan Lepro added the cushion stem.
Overall the bicycle is in excellent condition, there is wear on the top bars (mostly right side), the original chrome is very strong on this one; many of these the plating is whooped. The pedals are killer and would look even better if someone took time to age the one replaced outer plate. The grips are original but are for display only and would not hold up to riding; one had the tip broke off and it was re-glued. The tires are original but I would not be brave enough to ride them far. Nice original saddle. The aluminum fenders are superb besides some light surface scratches.
In person the bicycle presents very well.
