The orange Citri-Strip works well in today‘s world. I used it to remove the clear coat on a chrome framed JC Higgins Flightliner. Takes some time but we’ll worth it. I helped speed things up by putting a couple of large trash bags over the frame while it was on my bike repair stand. Put some old newspapers or something on the floor around where it’s sitting. Then a pair of rubber gloves and some Scotch-Brite pads to remove everything.
