Pair of Pre-war Elgin bicycles, both refurbished lots of Nos parts too many to list
Both modern drive train conversion set ups 1/2" pitch KMC chains utilizing current bike chain technology.
Extras included in sale valued at over $300 alone. Includes the orig. skip tooth parts for both bicycles to return to factory if so desired.
Both bicycles are exceptionally dependable riders have both been on many 60–70-mile enjoyable trips. Affectionally named Primrose & Buddy
Both also have cosmetic refurbishment as well. PPG automotive paint including metal etching primers, primer sealers, and sand able primers. Topcoats hand finished with lots of hours of hand polishing 2500gr. 3000gr.5000grit papers. Note: This finish achieves its shine with no clear coating just like the factory finishes of the era. Both bikes artistically custom painted+ Pin striping
Both bicycles believed to be Westfield built & made in Ma. USA. Pittsburg steel wt.53lbs and 63 lbs respectively.
Local pick-up- cash, PP, PMO due to expense of shipping 2 bikes + extras

Elgin Equipped Pre-War Bicycle:
Green co ed bicycle front light is replica light. Some chrome loss handlebars stem pedal crank arms,1930's seat orig. leather very nice for age comfortable. Current modern replica type pedals, 1995 Schwinn 100 anniversary rear scripted hub Shimano ( innards) Schwinn 1950 scripted front hub. 1995-wheel set SS spokes Schwinn tubular S2 nice knurling.
Only needs new horn button rest of horn v good. Includes rare 1940's mirror also 1940's German made bell.
Elgin Bent Tube Long Tank
Chestnut brown and Canadian Northern Orange men's Elgin front light inside clean but not fully tested.
rest of chrome 8.5-10 Mesinger 40's b6 comfortable seat very good. Current modern pedals replica type. Includes 1950's style mirror and 1940's German made orig. bell.
Both bicycles are well over 80+ years not all the orig.chrome replated still overall really nice. I'm honest about my descriptions.
