Sold Pair Of Period Goodyear G3 26” White Wall Tires $575

New Mexico Brant

Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
A super hard tire to find in PRE WAR original 26" PRE-NYLON EXAMPLES!!!, I spent three years putting together a NOS pair for my girl’s Huffman Super streamline. These were the back up pair, have some ride wear, sidewall crazing, and small cracks (that present when not mounted). Overall a very nice lightly used pair perfect for that special bike. One has some fine fugitive spray paint spatter at one area that could be cleaned off. $575 pair shipped. Please PM to purchase. Just selling the pair.

How do you know they are prewar? I’m asking because I have a pair of G3’s and wanted to know if there are certain marks for the prewar version? Thanks in advance

Good info ...
Are all post war tires labeled with NYLON on them or is it just for the G3s
Thank you in advance
Bob

Nylon was first used for toothbrushes in 1938 with panty hose right after. Then during the WWll for parachutes. After war ended it was used commercially for many products.
Including tires

I do have a stash of NOS ones...and very close to NOS ones...
including some used like you posted....
Keepers for now...
what would you offer on NOS ones?
