Thanks for all the advice and encouragement!! Ordered a lock washer key to help me with the hub! The fenders have a few dents and dings but are polishing up nicely! I did find a video on the two-speed hub which will be very helpful as I’ve never even heard of a two speed hub!! Learn something new every day!! Thanks again!!

OK - so i've managed to get this bike disassembled and started working on the hub - red band - and the good ole' indexing spring is a gonner - having trouble finding one so any help is appreciated - located an outfit called "soma fab shop" that supposedly is importing the reincarnation Eagle hubs and parts - however I ordered a spring from them only to find out that their inventory was off and they don't have any - so I'm on the hunt

These springs break frequently, I found one on eBay a few years back.
