Anybody got a time machine?
I’d sure like to go back and visit this shop.

This last photo is interesting.
It shows a Paramount on the left, a New World in the middle, and a Superior on the right.
All Sports Tourist models, equipped with a rear brake only.
The Paramount has the Webb cantilever type.
The New World looks to have a Coaster Brake.
And the Superior has the rear Dural Expander Brake.
Neat photo, showing off the three types of brake configurations available on the three different models of Schwinn’s lightweight offerings.
photo, circa 1939.
The prewar Paramount and Superior models were all made at Wastyn Cycles, by Emil Wastyn, pictured above, while all of the New World models were made in house at Arnold, Schwinn & Co.
All of the bikes made for Schwinn’s lightweight line were painted and finished at the Schwinn facility.
Just bought one last weekend!
