What are the differences between the discontinued Park FFS-1 and the replacement Park FFS-2 frame and fork straiteners ?
The FFS_2 looks like it's made a little cheaper.....

The older red ones, if I recall, have a longer handle and a little different dimension for the blade. But they accomplish basically the same task. Both the hook and the set pad should have some kind of plastic or rubber coating on them when you use the tool. You don't want metal-to-metal when leveraging. If you're fixing a lot of bikes and working with frame or fork straightening, they are an excellent tool to have. Beware that the main triangles of heavy-duty, old-style frames will take an immense amount of strength and leverage to straighten by hand. It can be done, but the old, thick-walled tubes of the heavy American-made bikes take a lot of effort to move. And finesse is needed when working with smaller tubes as are found on the rear triangle.
