I have had some questions regarding payment terms when purchasing stuff posted on theCABE. I see in many posts folks asking to be paid Friends and Family to save fees and the lack of a 1099 coming at the end of the year.
Paypal rules tells us that F&F is used to give money to somebody without fees, but not for payment of goods and services. Paypal is a business, and 3% is very fair for what they do. Every business in the world that accepts credit cards pays credit card fees. Its a cost of doing business.
With that said, theCABE does not have a policy for or against Paypal's F&F payments. Payment terms are between the buyer and the seller.
