Thanks for the offer, unfortunately I can't float another set of pedals at this point. A cap would work better for me at this point.

Hey Jeff, I'm sure you can find something very similar at a good hardware store, thread it, round off the corners, slot the center and knock of the finish to speed up the rust, you're good.
