Wore out three sets of tires already!
Price reduced to $1375.00
Listed is a 1959 Schwinn Phantom that I purchased from a good gentleman on the CABE. This is a real nice bike and a very nice rider. The paint has some scratches and some areas that the paint is thin but it presents itself very well. The chrome is real nice but the truss rods need cleaned up yet.
The only unfortunate part of this bike is the original tank disappeared over the years. As you see there is a new reproduction tank and horn that needs to be repainted. I just recently had the paint matched with automotive paint to be used on the tank and the light. It took 3 attempts to get the paint matched and I feel it is a 95% match to the 58 year old paint. I also have the correct templates to be used when painting the tank as well as the correct decals for the tank.
If this bike doesn’t sell I would be interested in buying original color tank to work on this bike.
Hopefully the photos will suggest the condition of this bike. I also listed a 1953 Schwinn Panther and I would like to sell one of the two bikes listed. The bike does need detailed.
I am located 1 ½ hours north of Trexlertown, so the bike could be picked up at my house or if purchased ahead of time it could be delivered to Trexlertown to avoid shipping.
