Penny or Raleigh dL-1

I’m in a predicament, both of these bikes are on my dream list but I have the chance to get a penny for quite cheap (800) and a dL-1 for 270
Help ... I can’t make up my mind

Go for the penny if it's in decent shape. Not often seen, especially at a decent price. May be a Boneshaker, modern bike? DL 1 is much easier to find in my opinion.

If it is a reproduction penny they are also a dime a dozen early pre war dl1 in good shape are hard to find -I have a 1919 Raleigh post some pictures please

I have a chance to get a Rex rod brake 1949 and please do post some pictures if possible
