Persons long spring saddle ID

I got this saddle on my latest find. I took a few photos. Can somebody help with identifying it? Thanks. It looks like someone did a crazy recovering on it long ago.

I know this thread is old. Can someone educate me on what era this saddle is from. I was guessing/hoping that it is motobike or motorbike era, possibly 20’s-30’s. I’ve been really into saddles lately. I’m always studying them on the bikes here on the cabe.

The longspring chassis is from the the 30’s. The pan is newer shown by the Permaco stickers on the underside.

Thanks for the details. So It sounds like it’s been messed with. At this stage, Is it good for anything other than parts?
