I remember this being discussed, on what use to be the Schwinn forums, many years ago by a guy named John C. aka Big John. If I remember correctly he had the bike.

Yes,I remember it discussed there too. A Sting-Ray collector/dealer bought it from the original owner still in the box,then resold it. Just curious,I doubt it would be available again for a long time.
