On Training Wheels
Anybody know anything about these early bikes? Has wooden rims and seat pan. And hand grips seems to be ?cork/wood? Leather wrapped. Any info would be great.

I suspect that the saddle, 'bars and stem may be USA items added by a previous owner. Not very English looking. Unlike the frame, chainset and pedals.
Did a quick search: company founded ca. 1896 as a pedals and components manufacturer; but apparently didn't make complete bicycles until the '30s. That badge looks older than that.
Interesting, I'll dig further!
 
Just like the American Humber, Phillips May have been made in America, as well.
This was done on both sides of the Atlantic, American and British bicycle manufacturers.
This is a valuable bicycle, in the UK.
