Hello everyone. Really neat website here! My first post so please bare with me...
I bought some stuff from a gentleman and he also has this bike for sale.
He said it is a bone shaker "BoneShaker" from the 1860's-70's???
I know nothing about bikes as I collect signs. However this looks like it belongs in a museum! It is hand forged, wooden spoked wheels with a leather seat.
Any help would be awesome in identifying Maker? Era? Value? Etc...
Thanks in advance for your expertise and help!
Here are some pics...

It's a reproduction !

A very convincing reproduction built in the early 1990's by the same overseas
manufacturer that brought us the "antique" horse head tricycles !! They sold
for around $700 new and I wouldn't pay more than $500 for a used one.
The bent metal pedals and the giant gap between the wheels are the give-aways. Hope this helps !!

more pics

Here is a few more pics...I will be glad to find out about it either way...Even if it is a repo...It hung from the ceiling in a garage with original cars and collectibles.
Thanks again for any help...
