I agree with SKPC

Good threads. First frame. It could be excelsior(not Michigan city) could also be a lot of other things. A lot of good discussion on frames with the built in stand ears….1917-1919

I also agree with @SKPC.
The 2nd frame looks to be a transitional Colson lug frame, with only 1 lug joint fitting.
Most Colson lug frame bicycles have 3 lug joint fittings: head tube; bottom bracket; and seat post cluster.
Recenty, we have seen a 2-lug Colson lug frame, (with a standard bottom bracket).
I believe that the serial number stamping should follow one of the Colson patterns, (but it is hard to read; 1931?).

A couple of items of note regarding the early teens Schwinn moto frames. The rear axle forgings seem to have the ears, transitioning to without them in the 20's. Chain/seat stay bridges all seem to have fish-mouth joints slightly curved. Also a slight bulge at seat post clamp junction. And as pointed out by @ejlwheels in the links, seems all these "eared" dropout forgings Schwinn used late teens/early 20's were pre-drilled for a skirt guard, even thought the mens did not use skirt guards.
Also a couple more detail pics for you of my 20's schwinn moto and a late teens/20's complete one that surfaced last year with a tank. How long is the head tube? I may have a fork that would fit your frame..
