Finally riding a big boys bike
Recently got this 64 Typhoon for cheap, today i polished the rust off the chrome, lubed it and put new tubes and tires on it. The old seat was trashed so I put this red messinger on it. Looks pretty sharp with the home painted red S7 rims. Going on the maiden voyage in a few minutes! Thanks for looking
PS. I included a before picture as well.

There's just something about these years of Schwinns. They clean up great and ride pretty great too! Looking good! Joe

I really like the way it rides too! Nice and easy to pedal, most my heavyweight bikes lick my ass pretty good in rides.

Looks good! If it's truly a '64 someone added the chrome fenders. Painted wheels/fenders came on the 64 models. It would have also had a short front fender (since it's not a DeLuxe). Nevertheless, I agree it's a great bike and they are fun to ride.
