The extra Washers will allow it to be used on a prewar Schwinn.

Update on this.. Found a 1946 Autocycle frame in Vancouver that fit this Springer.. I had to take off all the washers but it fits perfectly.. as frank had said someone must have used this fork on a prewar bike.. I am looking for coach green B6 parts if anyone has any.. I have a red tank to trade for a green one..
