A few of updated photos of my '84 Sierra from last summer. This bike came from So Cal through Ebay and the seller was a BMX guy. Little did I know he had poached the original wheels with Araya 7C hoops. It's gone through a few configurations in the nearly 20 years I've owned it, but except for the period-correct replacement wheels, saddle, and post, it's mostly original. It must have been built on a Friday afternoon as the right side brake post on the fork was welded on wrong and I could never get the pad to strike the rim right. The California license expired December 31, 2004

This is my High Sierra circa 86. Her name is Holly Golightly and she was utterly busted when I first bought her for $200. Her roller cam brakes were in major distress and looked horrid, rusted over, not aligned properly, you name it. We completely dissembled the brakes and sanded and polished them, and greased everything. She came with the original handlebars but switched it out for some gorgeous bullmoose handlebars. Added a custom welded brake hanger with a stunning paint job, and a wald basket. obviously also changed the tires so she was gravel compatible and she rides like a charm I always want to chat everyones ear off about my high sierra, so when I saw this forum I just about lost it! all your bikes are stunning. High Sierra's forever!!! Please feel free to ask questions if you have any!!

I had pretty much put my bike collecting on hold to pursue some other projects, but I saw these 2 - 1984 High Sierra bikes the other day on the FB Marketplace and could not pass them up because of the price! They are 100% original except for the tires that were replaced a few years ago when the owner had them serviced. They are a bit dusty from being stored in the garage, but they should clean up quite well with a few hours in the stand!
