At the Turlock swap, I was talking to Tim about his latest prewar Schwinn bike. Then we started talking about our DcurvedBR bikes. Anyway it was around a year when I was finishing ours. I realized I haven’t shared ours on this Schwinn DcurvedBR thread when I saw Tim posted here. Congrats on yours Tim @Tim the Skid. Link to our '36 Schwinn DcurvedBR rejuvenation here.

@Eddie_Boy has a post about his DcBR build
and then my search began. I asked Eddie a lot of questions about this Model Schwinn while I was searching he was very helpful.
I found a frame fork and fenders here in the classifieds and moved fast to buy it.
luckily I had everything else needed to complete the build with the exception of the studded Torpedo which @mr.cycleplane spotted for me
and his help was invaluable to get this going. As I been lagging on other projects and moved this in front of the pile.
Eddie was my Coach and Enabler for the build and I moved fast

Yes that’s a Girls Fender back there The front is a match and had a SilverRay originally
Theres a 36 crank in there and I wanted to put a 36 1/2” pitch Web but decided not as I had these Crunchy black wheels
That Surprisingly Eddie advised me Not to use them as the patina is too funky and we know Eddie loves Funky and Rusty Which to me contradicts what he does and helps me match correct patina.

I got the Wheels a long time ago from my good friend @Hastings
who I miss a lot as he has suspended a while ago for some dumb unfair stuff…. . . ..
he’s my go-to guy for fast patina parts and good deals…
Well I had them recently overhauled and Trued and they perform great they are Muscleman hubs and I like them a Lot
Im a Morrow fan by the way

I also had a correct Drop Stand that was rusty and funky which again Eddie advised me not to use so I had this foreign brand stand
and Eddie coached me on how to get it on properly and line it up. Yup there’s a forward gap with the rear fender it’s a girls and that’s what was on the bike in it’s past life but not original But I have a Girls frame a 1935 that the fenders paint match exactly and the rear is a Diamond
So if anyone has fenders or a rear in this frames color I want to buy them ! My girls frame has gold pins like these fenders have as you see no pins on this frame

Saddle is a Bob U and it’s comfy the CG I had in my Stash and not a 36 but works and fits well Pedals are T-8 which Eddie enabled me to use as I’m A T-10 guy Big Wide feet but they work well, Bars are 27” wide Torrington with crappy powder coating that Eddie Hates But I say Go wide or go home and Finger Grips I like to ride hard fast & far so wide works for me
Tyler Spotted the Light which he encouraged me is fine and I’m glad I listened to him. Even though there is a SilverRay Panty line

i washed all the Components and Frame fenders I was going to Rub and polish with pro compounds but I was lazy and just used Meguires Cleaner Wax instead and metal polish on the sorta shiny stuff

Cool pics showing your killer DcBR bro @Che. Dig that color combo with gold pins and black hoops on a black frame bike. Awesome job on the build. Love it. Let's get together soon and ride them.
