Cruisin' on my Bluebird
I was thrilled to pick up this Charles H Lamson luggage carrier this week and in such amazing condition. I got it from a very kind gentleman in Maine. Upon purchasing it, I only knew that it was a front-mounted carrier for pre-TOC bicycles because I already had the metal skeleton of one without straps. Only after reciving it and doing some research did I find out that the manufacturer (also from Maine) was Charles H Lamson. I was further thrilled to discover that Charles H Lamson was, prior to designing and patenting his carriers, the designer of the three winged LAW logo (article in the pics). Bicycle history never ceases to amaze me.
