I’ve been saving this saddle for a while but it’s time to break loose of some treasure!
Original chassis professionally and completely restored by Heilman Senior while he was still working. Some of you may know his name from motorcycle saddle work, it was not a cheap route.
All hardware was nickel plated including rivets. Sager stamp reproduced identically.
Leaf spring is strong, no brittle hardware.
In order to mount saddle to post you must remove the top and then replace after mounting. Very cool design, scarce as you could ask for in a period saddle rider recover.
