Yeah, the badge is not correct.. the pinch clamp is the feature that had me leaning (hoping) in that direction based on something I read on a different thread.

Yep, looking at the top tubes and dropouts, I see it. What made me think otherwise was the rear fender brace era. Another awestfield giveaway is the seat clamp.
