HARPO

Cruisin' on my Bluebird
First Shelby I've ever had, and I wasn't even looking for one. 🤪 And I'll say it's Pre War...? Serial Number: B832252

It was listed on Facebook for just two hours before I saw the one terrible photo. I contacted the woman immediately and told her to please consider it Sold. I gave her my phone number and she gave me hers. We spoke, and I sent her one of my Before And After photos ('39 girls Hawthorne that you've all seen) to show her what I could do to the bike. She was thrilled, and said it was her father's bike and that it would be going to someone who would appreciate it.
I told her that other people would probably call (which of course they did, she told me, when I went to go get the bike). And they offered more money. But... she was happy taking less knowing it would be taken care of. 🙂

Anyway, enjoy the Barrage of photos... even more than usual!

And PLEASE give me any info that you have on the the bike. All I've figured out from photos is that it's roughly a '40 or '41...maybe. 🧐

Congrats and great score!
Something that caught my eye was that top chainguard mount. One rivet head is rusty and the other looks plated. Makes you wonder did the assembler accidentally reach into the raw rivet bag instead of the plated ones?…..
