1936 Elgin Oriole bicycle in partially restored condition. I replaced the bearings in the crank and greased the rear hub. I removed all the old layers of paint on the frame down to bare metal. Of course since then there has been light surface rust formed on the bare steel which is easy to remove. The bike doesn’t come with a seat or pedals. I also added a tank that wasn’t original to the bike but it fit and I thought it was cool. There are several hard to find original parts that by themselves are worth quite a bit of money: Crossbar handlebars, neck, fork truss rods, dropstand and fender catch, etc. I was planning on restoring it and making it into an electric bike. However I stumbled on to another big e-bike project and I need my garage space. FYI, I have it all boxed up and ready to ship. Just send me your address and I will give you a quote from bikeflight. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks!
