Wore out three sets of tires already!
I picked these two up today. I noticed the prewar bike behind what I thought was a middleweight in the ad, and very happy to see it was a ballooner when I looked at them. It is a 55' Jaguar. Not sure about the prewar, been repainted and not sure about the fenders. Front one is backwards. It does have a nice set of jeweled grips and a pair of Firestone pedals too. Any info is greatly appreciated. If more pictures are needed let me know. Thank you.

The prewar bike has got the bump stop on the frame. That could only be one year. But which year? . The second bike is interesting cause I built up a set of rims that call for that caliper system. And would like to buy them if u decide to part F+R.
What # numbers are on the calipers?

All they say is Weinmann Made in Switzerland.

Autocycleplane has it right. The chainguard is a 1 year only 1941 deluxe with the rear clamp on bracket. I believe the bump stop is signature of only a 41' as well, but not 100% on that. Peaked fenders are not correct. Overall a really nice bike though it seems.

Not really my year- altho chainguard WOULD. fit
Anyway I prefer to stay with the bikes from the 30's
