picked up this bike today, sat in the basement many years. I brought it home and hosed it off and it’s in amazing condition. It has original Elgin grips really nice 26 inch triple step wheels. Someone put 1.75 tires on it but very original bike anybody know what year it is?
My double drop bar frame Westfield-built Sears Elgin motobike project (burgundy bird) has a M-series number; I will just call it a 1934.
(I have to re-measure mine for 26 versus 28 inch tires though). So, did the ladies models have the 5 hearts & teardrops, just like the Colson's.
Looks like a left over 28 inch frame and they used 26 inch tires but I think it’s original because of the spacers between the frame and the fender.
Thanks everyone for the help !
