Not too sure what this tank fits, was on a recent Franken pic. Measures 21" in overall length but appears to have been clipped at the end and tucked to make it fit on the frame. Since top piece was tucked towards bottom, it could've been approximately 1.5" longer? Also mounting screws were rusted and broke off. Anyhow selling as is for $395 shipped in CONUS only. Please PM if interested. PayPal FF preferred.

Hi- I don't think that the rear end of this toolbox tank was trimmed and made to fit into the frame. It looks factory to me, but maybe slightly torn on the edges/sunken in- just a bit bent up. Also, being that it is 21 inches long, this is the typical length of 1920s toolbox tanks. Sometimes, they may be shorter in length than 21 inches, but I have never seen one longer. This type of toolbox tank was used on a variety of different makes and models from the mid 1920s up through early 1930s. I have seen them on bikes such as Elgin, Colson, and maybe some of the Hawthorne bikes and others still; this was universal for many, but not all models at the time. Some models require a toolbox that is narrower at the end, or even a different shape than this, but this one was the most commonly used.
