That tank looks like early post war 46-48, because it looks like it doesn't have a horn/button or battery tray. The rest of the bike look prewar, with the exception of the saddle.

Yes your correct no switch on tank so maybe should have a battery operated light and not this electric type . Just for show for sure like I mentioned . Decided to post on eBay to . Great bike so hope someone likes it as much as we have .
