Riding my Motorbike
offered here is a 1935-9 prewar schwinn sprocket in somewhat patina'd condition. this is the 'thick' version that is machined on both sides. the later is 'dished' and found on the 1940/1 models. originally i bought it and it looked great -under layers of okie-chrome paint! when i removed the paint i was a little disappointed but the sprocket is straight and a strong candidate for a patina finished bike or rider. its just at the point it can enjoy its place on a patina
preserved motorbike. it is flat and doesn't have excessive wear-shows normal use. hard sprocket to find. used on prewar motorbikes etc from 1935 thru the 38 cantilever higher end bikes schwinn offered. i can't say it would clean up much better than you see so have done a couple detail shots of the rusted areas. if you are a fan of the 'preserve the rusty schwinn' then this is your animal!
