I got a ridiculous deal on a Miss America earlier this year. Seller wouldn't put a price on it even when I asked what he wanted for it. Just said to make him an offer. So I tossed out a price and he accepted. I would have offered more but only had one pic to go off of, and it looked like it had been repainted. Turned out to be mostly original paint, with a couple areas "touched up" with house paint.
Most think it's worth a fortune because they "saw one like it on pickers" or something. But sometimes you get lucky.
