So 1.22” would be about ~31mm.

I vaguely recall Iver Johnson and/or early Westfield bicycles using about 31mm cups.

(Somewhere in between more commonly found 30mm & 32.5mm).

Might consider seeking a set of 31mm cups that includes compatible size bearings, race etc.

Rummaged cup jar. Seems most around 1.18" or so outer diameter. From various bikes. If I find around 1.22 or so, will let you know. 👍👍

i don't know that this will help but the cups you seek use a 73a bearing/retainer. bicyclebones (ebay) has nos bottom race for the fork. postwar schwinn cups fit but take a different bearing and are larger-just not right. here is what you are after i think! study the 'shape/profile' of the cup. don't buy or use the cheap chinese bearings. look for original 73 hartford-star-schwinn-even if used but still serviceable. items pictured below not for sale-for reference

Seller has lots headsets. Maybe ask if has your size.
