well I can def say that its a monark springer, and a schwinn chainring not sure about the frame could be a couple different bikes, colson, schwinn, shelby, cwc get some better pictures of the frame and if you have a headbadge that'll make a better ID

OK, here's some more pictures.

Headbadge is Schwinn "The World."
Rear fender is connected to the frame via bolt (7.jpg, see below).
Tires are Schwinn Typhoon.

Schwinn...frame and crankY

The rear drop outs give it away...;)

I would pull the crank and check for a date 1936-37 ish:)

Looks to me like all the rest of the parts even the fender are from other bikes

You got a lot of parts to find to make it original...

Crank...nope

The sprocket is OK.... But the crank is not gonna give you a answer on the year... Looks like a beach bike slapped together from the 80's:(

I agree with Jamie lots of changes made over the years. definitely early Schwinn though at least the frame and sprocket. also militarymonark is correct about the springer definitely later Monark. you're gonna need someone like Keith for the best result in dating it.
Scott:cool:

That could be the original rear wheel w/that Morrow brake. The hub will say 36 - 18, which is the spoke and sprocket count. There should also be a letter code on it which id's the year. I can't remember where my list is though. I agree w/everyone on the other stuff though. ~Adam-tinkerer
