Prewar Schwinn with unique stem.

I picked this up today. I'm thinking its a prewar Schwinn model c? It is mostly white with green on the front under the black spray bombed paint. Crank set looks nice, haven't taken it apart yet to check for year. Good skip tooth chain. Front forks are bent and do not appear to be original. The stem though, Never seen one like it. Looks kind of streamline.

Yeah, the paint is kind of neat. I am trying to strip it down to original but might need a complete repaint. I think its a 1936 Schwinn. I might make a klunker rout of it.

I think It is a Hawthorne stem. It will look cool restored.

Is it house paint or spray paint, I found that for spray paint you can usually use paint thinner (usually either enamel reducer) to remove it
