prewar steering tube length

what is the length of a girls prewar fork steering tube from bottem of bearing race to top of threads in inches?

Nobody has a ballon tire girls bike they can measure the fork on?
I need to know if a 7 3/4" steerer tube will do the job before I buy one. I'd be awfuly thankfull if someone could do this measurement for me.

I jyst measured mine from a pre-war girls bike--it is 8 1/4 in.
what bike do you have?? mine is a '33-35 model B3, and I have most of it. If you need any parts, I'll sell all or part. I have the frame, fork, fenders and chainguard, and I think the correct handlebars.

whaaaa? 8 1/4"?

so head tube length is 7" on the frame below (bought on ebay $15 ser # d30816)
=> race cups and top race plus bearing contact area and inside of top nut and top washer equals 1 1/4" ????
ill get my parts out of storage and check but i doubt it.
Did you measure from the bottom of the fork race to the top of the steerer tube threads? or from the inside of the fork to the top of the threads?
