Finally riding a big boys bike
Found this little lady at an antiques fair while out leafing and pumpkin stuff
with the family this fall. I cannot believe how beautiful and original she is. The
proprietor said, "Nobody wants a girls bike...sure you're interested?" To which
I replied (trying to contain my enthusiasm, lest I blow the deal) "Um, yeah. Kinda.
I guess I could take her off your hands. How much? $75? I'd have to ask my wife
first. You know, it being a girls bike and all..." Sometimes the universe throws
you one and you gotta catch it with both hands and hold on, tucked in tight like
the Heisman Trophy, knocking everyone out of the way.
