Riding One Of My Monark Super Deluxe's
I've always enjoyed building bikes, while on the hunt for additions to my collection.
The Firestone SC-X "Road Rage" is DONE!
Starting this project to late in the season made it seem this one took forever!
Excluding grips, this bike was built totally from my Monark parts stash.
I really enjoy building using period parts. The photos really don't do the tooled gold justi
Gathering main parts and getting the roller together.
Metal work begins, starting with chain gaurd, then fenders.
After the chops are done and sheet metal stripped and in primer, time for final mock up.
Tear it back down, start the finish paint, graphics, and clearing. While doing that, the wheels needed attention and many of the parts needed detail work. Wheels turned out nice!
Final reassembly after the work is Done. The fun part! You get to see if all the work was worth it!
