Sorry for the delay in getting back to all Happy to say issue resolved. Your suggestion GTs58 worked well and also Hoagie's took off the yolk washers everything fits much better now
Also found out that the most common truss rods for Schwinn restorers is the aftermarket rods which install longer crimped end to axle shorter crimped end to yolk bolts the quality may not be as good but price less than plating so many use them I prefer original, but this is what I've got so
Majority of the problem was related to having the 2nd. gen. springer fork with the drop-down swivel fender attachment which contributed to standard fender stays not to fit properly this to was remedied and very happily with the help of Cabe members and others. Thanks again
