I am restoring a 1897 Sterling and it needs a replacement front fender. Since I have had a hard time finding one I am wondering if I could modify a light weight Schwinn. Can anyone tell me how wide one is like from a Breeze perhaps? Bonus points if you have a orphan fender that meets the criteria for sale. Thank you

Cruisin' on my Bluebird
I have a front and rear fender from a 1963 Schwinn Traveler. 1-9/16" wide. They covered a 26 x 1-3/8" tire. I took this image from the web but it's identical to what I have (fenders). I can send you pictures of the actual fenders if you like. Send me a PM if you're interested.
