Thanks to Goldenrod I have a very nice and smooth working throttle cable. That said, there is little resistance for the twist grip and under vibration at idle, it wants to open the throttle and race the engine. Is there a mod for adding a return spring so the throttle stays put at idle?

Resolved: Someone suggested putting a spring (like a ball point pen spring) between the sheath (at the end of the control wire) and it provides just enough resistance to keep the "creep" from the throttle accelerating the engine allowing me to adjust and maintain the idle. Thanks to "Diesel Tech" on another forum for his suggestion
