Questions about a Western Flyer...

I picked up a badly rusted Western Flyer-Shelby the other day and am looking for info. It has an unusual set of fenders on it. Curved with a raised center, rounded peak and pinched at the ends. They look like Elgin-Mercury dlx fenders without the big opening on the front fender for the fork. I have no reason to believe they were not original to the bike. Anyone have any info? I will post pics later...I know, no pics-no help...

How do you know it is a Shelby? Is it an Airflo frame? Dang sir, you know better than to bait me like that. Post a picture NOW!
