Racing pedal identification

I'm wondering that if you were to slide the axle out that there might be a name somewhere.

Put a shoe on the pedal as it would sit and do a test fit with another piece of material to get a pattern before you cut it.

I think I did make a minor attempt to remove the end caps but they did not break loose easily so I gave up, which is better than breaking something.

I suppose that a temporary set could be bolted in place and made out of modern leather.
