Ranger bicycle info needed.

I picked these up the other day and need some info on them such as year, collectability and value. They both have locking forks with keys but sadly the headbadges are missing. The last date on patent decal is 1922...is that the year it was built?
I`d love to know some more about these bikes so any help is appreciated.

Schwinn built frames,most likely.You have the Liverpool decal so should be an early 20s---

If you are up to removeing one of the crank sets there should be a date stamped in the center section.

On the bottom of the crank hanger, it says D97341.
I guess there is no way to tell the year by that number so I'll
have to take the crank out for a better idea. One more
thing on my "to do" list.
