$325 shipped: now $250 shipped This is an original 1940 rack but has had some repair/restoration. The sheet metal top and the braces are period; there is a little fine pitting on the underside of the rack body. The curved bar is a stainless steel replacement; whoever did this bar did a great job because there are no kinks in the metal. The repairs: there are four weld spots on the bottom if the rack, these are filling holes that were drilled into the rack at some point. You cannot it see this on the top side, the person did not try to hide this on the bottom; in my opinion they could be cleaned up better. The ends of both braces have additional supports bolted on; the one support is missing approx. 3/4 of an inch so the new support replaces this. Lastly, the seat post bracket has a replacement welded on. This area seems to be a common spot were damage occurs on many Huffman racks. It has been suggested to me that this repair could also have been to convert this from a twin flex rack to a non-rear flex rack (or vs.)? I honestly do not know enough about the 1940 twinflex to confirm this statement.
