For sale Super Rare Barralumin aluminum randonneuse bike from late 40s. Shown as found. Matching serial number #4139 on headtube and under fork crown. This is the top of the line made by Nicola Barra​ ovalized top tube​ ovalized down tube​ spectacular internal cable routing for rear brake and rear derailleur​ integrated seatpost​ Barra signature modified Lechat front derailleur​ Barra cantilever brake calipers​ Barra stem​ Top tube length: 52cm c-t-c Seat tube length: 50cm c-t-c Bike features:​ Maxi-car hubs with original wingnuts (laced to 650c Nisi toro rims)​ AM saddle with aluminum rails​ Cyclo shifter and rear derailleur​ Original stronglight 49d crankset​ Lefol brake levers​ 1940s aluminum handlebars​ Original Cyclo 4s freewheel​ NOTE: there's a little crack (shown in 2 ) in the upper part of the bottom bracket shell: unfortunately it's a common "desease" on these frames. The crack is repairable but I've chosen to leave it the way I found so new owner can choose what to do with it. Also, left crankarms is currently stucked. I did not want to ruin crankarm threads, so I've left it mounted. Other than that, is one of the best preserved Barra bikes you can ever see. Shipping and Paypal fees at buyer expense​

Wow, beautiful weld and contour work!
I bet that bottom bracket was a hot mess...hence why they're prone to cracks.
