Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Very unusual and killer rare prewar Delta fenderlight!!
Zeppelin inspired with fluted sides, it's also known as the HEX light and a low rise version was used notably as og equipment on the 1938 Snyder built Hawthorne HTB.
This version was made by Delta for aftermarket sales as a universal mount fender lamp and has a riser or standoff incorporated into the body.
Outer light housing is very good with no rot or dents. Og battery tray has moderate corrosion as shown but appears usable/savable. It's end where the switch mounts has hopped off it's tab inside, but the front is still riveted. Reflector is good. Bezel is fair with a small split near the set screw notch. Lower clamps are not og but currently do the job and the plastic lens is long gone.
