Anyone recognize this rat trap? Icannot make out whats written on end of it , looks like star bike co? I have just the one and would like to match it .. thanks Tom

I was informed it may be a G+J , However I just searched Pedaling History Pedals and it resembles Standard Star Co. circa 1900...anyone?

I have a set of these as well, but not in front of me. My other Star pedals have info stamped in this area of the pedal. Check it and see.

that looks like j & G to me- could have been made by star(torrington) for them ---or not

Just saw this thread. Did you find a match? I have one of those pedals. It is missing its axle, but otherwise in good shape.
