Finally riding a big boys bike
I promised to show the completed seat when it was done and here you go.
The first three have the old cover on.
We selected some very similarly grained marine/motorcyle vinyl material and other than having new fabric for backing rather than the old burlap stuff, it is a pretty good match for the original cover.
I had all the plated parts redone and was able to reuse the original cotton padding. You will see some non-smooth areas that show the cotton irregularities. I suspect if we could have covered it with burlap before the vinyl, it could have been smoother.
For what I am doing with it, it is very nice and the photos show more than you can see in person.
